In the other hand, as a matured developed economy, Japan has a problem with its productive population that is sharply reduced due to declining birth rate and aging population (Institute of Labor Economics, 2019). Indonesia's manpower so far contributes for more than 30 years as the 8th largest foreign manpower supply in Japan's industrial workforce (Japan Ministry of Foreign Affair, 2018). The Background of
President Director
Sumarsono Sudarto was born on 1987. He earned Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification on 2008, a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Indonesia in 2009 and 2011 respectively. He awarded with a Doctor of Engineering degree in 2016 from the Department of System Cybernetics of Hiroshima University, Japan. His doctoral study was fully funded by Japan most prestigious scholarship donor, the Hitachi Global Foundation.

His career in education started as the Assistant Professor in the Industrial Engineering Department, University of Indonesia since 2009 to 2017. Then begins the new career in the same position in the Industrial Engineering Department, Mercu Buana University since 2018 until now. He also appointed as Guest Assistant Professor for Basic Science, Statistics, System Modeling and Simulation, and Supply Chain Engineering in the Department of Industrial Engineering in the Swiss German University since 2016 until now. He has been trusted to educate many largest corporate leaders in Indonesia, e. g. Pertamina, United Tractors, Astra Honda Motor, PZ Cussons, etc..
​His professional career in Indonesia started on 2015 until now as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Elite Tutors Indonesia Co. Ltd. In the non-profit community, he also the member of Indonesia Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) since 2018 until now. And, he becomes the General Secretary of Hiroshima University Alumni Association: Indonesia (HUAAI) since 2023 with the member for around 1,000 alumni that's one of the largest alumni network of Japan's university in Indonesia.
